Super Bowl pushes Domino's franchisee's digital orders to 45 percent

Pittsburgh area Domino's Pizza stores reported that they delivered nearly 48,000 pizzas on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3.

Additionally, nearly 45 percent of orders that day came from digital channels — online, tablet and mobile platforms. On average, Domino's digital platform makes up more than 30 percent of sales in the U.S.

"Domino's digital ordering options continue to set the bar for convenience and outstanding ordering experience," said Ammar Jali, Domino's Pizza franchise owner in Pittsburgh. "We're excited to know Pittsburgh customers chose Domino's online ordering to be part of their game day experience."
