Calgary-based Takeout King has chosen the POS integration platform by eThor to power its new direct mobile ordering capability, an eThor news release said.

Takeout King provides the city's residents with a takeout and delivery menu directory. The free app features more than 600 menus and allows users to search by restaurant name, cuisine type or location, the release said.

"[E]Thor made it easy for us to add ordering to the Takeout King app, and we're excited to offer this new service through our platform," Takeout King CEO Kiran Sthankiya said in the release.

The ordering solution by eThor will enable Takeout King's users to browse, place orders and pay through a one-stop experience, and communicates directly with the restaurant's POS system.

"This is a great example of how eThor's technology can enable mobile app developers to provide enhanced services and unlock new monetization opportunities," said eThor CEO Gary Ziegler.
