BANGKOK, Thailand—Pizza Hut units here are extending delivery hours to better serve Thai soccer fans staying up late for live broadcasts of matches underway in Europe.

According to The Nation, customers can get pizza until midnight, two hours longer than normal, throughout the two-week Euro 2004 tournament.

To commemorate the event, Pizza Hut also introduced a Euro Four Pizza that has four types of sausage toppings.

Panithan Sethabutra, managing director of Yum Restaurants International in Thailand, said the company hired 1,000 additional delivery drivers at its 83 Pizza Huts to meet the expected late-night order increase.

Two years ago pizza companies throughout the Far East claimed sales increases of as much as 20 percent during the month-long World Cup soccer tournament.
