Three Pizza Hut-WingStreet cobrand shops open in Chicago

Daily Southtown: Pizza Hut hopes its WingStreet chicken wing concept will take off in Chicago.

The chain has opened three WingStreet-Pizza Hut co-branded sites on the south side of the Windy City.

Dallas-based Pizza Hut, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands Inc., declined comment on WingStreet, saying only that it is testing the concept in several markets.

WingStreet sells chicken wings in flavors such as Cajun, honey barbecue, garlic parmesan and the extra-spicy "flamethrower." A basket of 10 bone-in or boneless wings costs $5.99. Ranch, bleu cheese or Buffalo dipping sauce is available for an extra 35 cents.
