Top pizzerias push online ordering, $10 promos for Super Bowl

Leading chains Pizza Hut and Papa John's have lined up their game plans for winning the Super Bowl pizza wars.
Anticipating a 50 percent overall sales increase and 1.2 million orders through online, phone, text and iPhone ordering this Super Bowl Sunday, Pizza Hut stressed its first-time online ordering discount and $10 pizza deal in a statement.
First time online customers will receive 20 percent off their online orders. Customers can also order via text message, mobile Web, even through Facebook. Additionally, in time for the game, any pizza at Pizza Hut is now $10. Customers can order any size pizza, with any crust and any toppings for $10.  
Meanwhile, Papa John's is offering a similar deal for Game Day — its "1st and 10" promotion offers any large pizza for $10. The company also is offering exclusive deals on its Web site from now until Super Bowl Sunday, including its Super XL IV Pizza – an extra-large pizza with up to four toppings for $11.99.
