Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint is marking its fifth anniversary with a $5.55 deal. The promotion is good each Monday for a 9-inch, 3-topping pizza and small soft drink at the original Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint, 3027 N. Druid Hills Road in Atlanta.

"As the leader in fast casual pizza, we're proud of the success Uncle Maddio's has seen in five years," Founder Matt Andrew said in a news release. "Pizza is a classic favorite, and we've found an innovative way to upgrade the experience by allowing customers to enjoy high quality ingredients, a variety of options in a casual environment."

The first Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint opened in 2009 in Atlanta. Two years later the company opened its first franchise locations in Woodstock, Ga. and Louisville, Ky. There are now locations in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee, with 35 new units planned to open this year and another 165 locations in the development pipeline.
