Veerman to head new SpeedLine customer service team

LYNDEN, Wash. -- POS manufacturer SpeedLine Solutions has appointed veteran service technician Mark Veerman its new customer care manager. According to a release, Veerman will lead SpeedLine's newly revamped customer service division.

"Our customer base is growing very rapidly now, and we recognize that we need to maintain the best staffing and technology to ensure that all our customers get the level of care they need and expect from us," said SpeedLine co-founder and vice-president of development Terry Haan. "It's all about service."

Along with Veerman, the new team will include several new customer care technicians and office staff. The team is also finalizing the implementation of a shared knowledge base and advanced phone support system designed to improve the speed and efficiency of response to customer calls.

"Our success is built on the loyalty and support of our customers," said SpeedLine president John deWolde. "It's our responsibility to honor their trust and protect their technology investment by listening to their concerns and responding with a consistent high level of service."
