Via Napoli video debuts

One of the first videos inside Via Napoli, the new Neapolitan pizzeria at Disney’s Epcot theme park, has debuted on Disney blog, Chip & Co.

The video reveals a beautiful, ornate interior and some interesting facts. Three wood-burning ovens, named after the largest volcanoes in Italy, take the ornamental ovens trend to the next level, with their caricature-formed facades. And video “tour guide” Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group, which owns the restaurant, reveals that many of the servers are “imported” from Italy as well, along with the 1,000-piece blown glass chandelier at the entrance, and all the restaurant’s ceramics.

The luxurious restaurant is the latest in a string of expansion projects of Neapolitan pizzerias, a niche that is gaining momentum in the segment.
