Western Foodservice Expo names keynote speaker

Reed Exhibition Cos., producers of the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo, has announced that Garry Ridge, president and CEO of WD-40 Co., will be the Keynote Address presenter for the upcoming San Diego event as part of the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum.
 
The Forum will take place during the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo to be held Aug. 30 – Sept. 1 at the San Diego Convention Center.
 
Kicking off the three-day event will be Ridge's Keynote Address, Sunday, Aug. 30 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Pacific time.
 
Ridge, who is co-author of "Helping People Win at Work," along with Ken Blanchard, has inspired thousands of executives and entrepreneurs as they create high-performance organizations. 
 
In addition to the keynote, the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum will feature more than 20 presentations, representing topics such as Menu Design & Nutritional Analysis, How to Plan For a Concept Start Up and The Power of Social Media. Access to the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum is included at no charge to all visitors of the event.
 
While at the show, foodservice professionals also will have the opportunity to see new products and services from 450-plus exhibitors. Special events include local celebrity chefs at the Hot Spot Culinary Demonstrations and the ACF Culinary Competition. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to visit Expo Comida Latina, featuring All Asia Food, which is co-located with the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo. One badge provides access to both shows.
