zpizza will kick off its national "pizza lover campaign" this week, featuring founder Sid Fanarof as a candidate. The campaign, titled "Sid for Prez: Join the Pizza Party — Just Prizes, No Politics," takes place at zpizza locations nationwide beginning Oct. 9.

The "Sid For Prez" campaign will run through Election Day, Nov. 6. On that day, zTribe members will receive an exclusive offer of pizza slices for $1.25 each. zpizza customers may enter the sweepstakes by registering online at zpizza.com. Also, by using their smart phone, customers can scan the QR code found on zpizza's in-store marketing materials to be directed to the website's online entry form for a chance to win Free Pizza for a Year, Gift Cards and zpizza merchandise. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Nov. 6.

Fanarof opened the first zpizza location in Laguna Beach, Calif., in 1986.
