zpizza opening 16 stores in 3 months

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif . — The zpizza gourmet pizza chain said it plans to open 16 restaurants over the next three months, seven of which will be in California.

According to a news release, the openings will push its unit total beyond 50 locations nationwide. Some 200 more are in the development pipeline and slated for Arizona, Nevada, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, North Carolina, Colorado and Vermont. Other open stores in California include Newport Beach, Los Angeles and San Diego.

zpizza's menu offers 17 pizzas, as well as sandwiches, salads, calzones and the opportunity to create your own pizza with a selection of crusts, sauces, cheeses and toppings.
