The Naked Pizza in Louisville, the system's second franchise location, is located in the bustling St. Matthews area. "The concept is good for Middle America," said co-founder Brock Fillinger. "That's where it's needed most and does best."
Naked Pizza offers a healthier pizza by using natural toppings such as hormone-free meats and a healthier, 9-grain crust. The chain is not organic, but it's health profile is based on the research of co-founder, anthropologist Jeff Leach.
Among the new store's features is this media wall, where customers can see messages about the brand's mission and information about its ingredients and sourcing.
Naked Pizza's corporate makeup consists of a wildly diverse philosophy and franchisees are not chosen for their experience with franchising. Co-founder Brock Fillinger said the company values a commitment to learn.
