The sixth location in the system spans 1,500 square feet and allows seating for 50 guests.

Ally and Scott Svenson launched the first MOD Pizza nearly four years ago in Seattle. The couple returned to their home state of Washington after running a successful coffee franchise in London for 10 years.

In addition to providing a view of the Space Needle, the 350-square-foot, south-facing outdoor patio opens to a new Chihuly Garden.

MOD plans to accelerate its expansion with the addition of two new restaurants outside of the Seattle market, set to open by the end of the summer.

The top-your-own pizza concept of MOD (Made on Demand) was inspired by Chipotle. The Svenson's believed there was a gap in this space when they first opened MOD nearly four years ago.
