Building on 25 years of success as the nation's premier Latino pizza brand, Dallas-based Pizza Patrón is exploring new territory with more than 80 stores under development. In addition to carry-out and dine-in models, the company has launched several innovative store models: Pizza Patrón Rapidito for airports and malls, Pizza Patrón Concession for sports arenas and college campuses, and QSP (Quick Service Pizza), a drive-thru concept that also features a walk-up order window. With Hispanic population growth to be significant in the next few years, Pizza Patrón seems poised for strong domestic and international expansion. The company received extensive media coverage around the globe in 2007 when it decided to accept Mexican pesos at all of its restaurants. It has since launched several other Spanish language-themed promotions.
