With $1,300 and his goal to make the best pizza possible, Jim Grote founded Donatos in 1963. Today, Donatos is a $30 billion pizza industry with 65 company stores in Ohio and more than 110 franchise stores in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, North and South Carolina and Alabama. Donatos plans to expand even more throughout the U.S.
