The first Rosati's Authentic Chicago Pizza opened in a Chicago suburb in 1964, serving pizza based on a family recipe that dates back to the turn of the century. Today, Rosati's is the second-largest local restaurant chain in the Chicago area, with more than 50 restaurants in eight states. Along with pizza, the restaurant's menu features salads, pasta, ribs, chicken, sandwiches and seafood. The company makes extensive use of social media, with a strong Facebook and Twitter presence, and has integrated text messages and QR codes into its advertising.
