Greek's Pizzeria is a franchise business owned by Athanasios Chris Karamesines. He established his first pizzeria in 1969 when he was 17 years old. Karamesines had worked in numerous pizza franchises in the U.S. and learned the pizza trade inside and out. The company uses fresh vegetables, all milk cheese and cooks its pizza all on Neapoli­tan, hand-tossed dough that is made fresh daily. Greek's Pizzeria uses an enclosed or open kitchen concept, using wood or gas-fired ovens. Full service dining, carry-out and free delivery service are available. Spe­cialties include gourmet pizzas, garlic but­ter breadsticks, pizza shells (calzones), pas­tas and subs. The company's sales jumped nearly 3 percent in 2011, and 6 percent in 2010, year over year.
