Block cheese prices on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange averaged slightly above $1.29 per pound last week, up 2 cents from the previous week.   Block cheese closed at $1.27 per pound Monday and Tuesday, just above $1.28 per pound on Wednesday, just above $1.30 per pound on Thursday and $1.33 per pound Friday.
