With menu labeling laws about to take effect, many restaurant operators are considering a move to digital menu boards to make compliance easier. Some, however, are worried that there won't be enough ROI to justify the switch from static menus.
Our April 2012 survey of quick-service and fast casual operators who use digital menu boards revealed that the benefits of these systems go well beyond compliance with labeling laws and that the payback period might not be as long as you think.
