Pizza restaurant operators got a chance to learn from three experts during an hour-long webinar, "How to Improve Your Customer Experience by Shifting Focus."

The webinar featured Reed Daniels, owner and CEO of Red's Savoy Pizza, Arjun Sen, an author of "Customer Karma" and president of the consultancy, ZenMango, and Brad Brooks, marketing manager at Speedline Solutions.

Brooks provided a simple-to-follow plan to help operators ensure their delivery programs are more profitable. The plan Brooks presented covered the intricacies of the order and delivery process, including marketing, delivery preparation, special requests and delivery issues, building loyalty, hiring and training, and improving profits.

One of the main subjects covered was "customer experience versus customer service." Panelists also discussed "the karma of giving," which they said includes "creating magic out of nothing."
