Are you ready to 'pitch' your fast casual concept?

Fast Casual is now accepting entries for The Perfect Pitch — what we like to describe as a friendlier version of "Shark Tank."

If you have a new and unique fast casual concept we want to hear about it at this year's Fast Casual Executive Summit, being held Oct. 9-11 in Dana Point, California.

We are now accepting entries for our second annual competition, The Perfect Pitch — what we like to describe as a friendlier version of "Shark Tank." It's aimed at owners of new fast casual concepts looking to pitch their brands to a room of potential investors and franchisees at the Summit.

To enter restaurant concepts must meet three guidelines:

  1. Have at least one store open but no more than 10.
  2. Must be no less than 6 months old and no more than 5 years old.
  3. Must share revenue and average sales data.

Entries are being accepted through July 29. Three finalists will be selected by Aug. 8 to make the pitch on Oct. 11 at the summit. At the conclusion of the session attendees will vote on the concept they believe is most likely to succeed in its expansion plans.

All three finalists will receive a complimentary pass to the summit but must cover their own travel and accommodations.

Otto Othman, CMO and co-founder of Pincho Factory, was one of last year's finalists and said presenting was a great experience.

"After people heard our story, and our hardships, many have become friends and mentors in helping us grow our company," he said. "It's great to see how many people are willing to help when you have a good concept with a great story."
