Andy Freivogel

Andy grew up in the Chicago area and spent formative years as a dishwasher, fry cook, barista and coffee shop manager. After a long detour through technology building a residential ISP service, Andy returned to hospitality as the Director of IT for Intelligentsia Coffee, before eventually launching Science On Call with his co-founders in 2020. Andy lives with his artist wife in Oak Park, IL, along with three dogs, a cat, and four chickens. Andy plays in a heavy metal band called Founder and can often be found at Vito & Nick's, the legendary Chicago tavern-style pizzeria.
