1st co-branded Round Table Pizza, Fatburger opens in California

FAT Brands Inc., parent company of 18 restaurant concepts, has opened its first co-branded Fatburger and Round Table Pizza in Rancho Cordova, California, according to a press release.

"There's nothing better than seeing two iconic brands unite under one roof, especially in their home state," Jake Berchtold, COO of FAT Brands' fast casual division, said in the press release. "This opening also represents the first-ever Fatburger addition to an existing Round Table Pizza location — a strategic growth initiative we plan to continue expanding, particularly throughout California."

A grand opening celebration was held on Aug. 9 with the first 100 guests receiving a free Original Fatburger.

The restaurant is located at 2234 Sunrise Blvd.

Round Table Pizza has approximately 400 restaurants across the U.S. Fatburger's legacy spans over 70 years.
