HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—Chicago Pizza & Brewery, Inc. reported comparable-store sales at its BJ's Restaurant and Brewery units jumped 4.5 percent in the second quarter ended June 27, 2004.
According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, comps got a boost from a 2 percent menu price increase introduced last November and a 1.5 percent price increase in May '03.
Revenue for 2Q '04 at its 32 restaurants increased 15.4 percent to $29.3 million, versus $25.4 million last year.
