3Q comps at California Pizza Kitchen rise 5.6%

LOS ANGELES — California Pizza Kitchen reported comparable-store sales for its third quarter ended, Oct. 1, 2006, rose 5.6 percent versus 7.1 percent a year ago.

 

According to a regulatory filing, revenue for the period increased 14.7 percent to $142.8 million versus $124.5 million in 2005.

 

During the period, CPK opened four full-service restaurants (including its first in Japan) and one CPK/ASAP.
