HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Pizza-and-brew-themed BJ's Restaurants posted strong revenue but modest comparable-store sales gains for its third quarter, ended Sept. 26, 2004.
According to a regulatory filing, comps for the 35-unit chain rose 2.9 percent for the period, while revenue, helped along by new store openings, rose nearly 23 percent. Net income for the quarter was $1.2 million, 24 percent higher than in the same 12 weeks last year.
