American team invited to First Annual Pizza Cup

NAPLES, Italy — The World Pizza Champions will be competing and representing the United States at the 2nd annual Trofeo Citta Di Napoli Campionato Internazionale Per Pizzaioli/ 1st Annual World Pizza Cup, to be held June 12 -13 in Italy.
Members Tony Gemignani, Calif., Bruno Di Fabio, N.Y., William Manzo Jr., R.I., Tony Palombino, Ky., and Glenn Cybulski, Calif., will represent the United States.
Competitors from Japan, Ireland, Italy, Canada, France, the United States, and several other countries, will be in attendance. The World Pizza Champions were personally invited by organizers and officials in Naples to be the only team to represent the United States at the World Pizza Cup.
The World Pizza Cup is sponsored by Molino San Felice, one of the oldest flour companies in Naples.
