Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, the thin-crust pizza chain with locations all over Florida, debuted in Las Vegas this weekend at the city's popular Town Square open air shopping center near the strip, according to the Las Vegas Sun online. Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino is a key investor.

Dan Marino is hoping to score a touchdown in the Las Vegas restaurant market.The former Miami Dolphins quarterback is the star investor in a Florida-based pizza franchise and, in a Hail Mary move of sorts, the chain opened its first Las Vegas location this summer.Anthony's menu revolves around dishes prepared in the restaurant's distinctive coal-burning oven, namely well-done thin crust pizzas and oven-baked chicken wings. Oversized meatballs, broccoli rabe mixed with sausage, and Marino's namesake eggplant parmesan round out the list of house specialties.
