Basecamp Wood Oven Pizzeria opens in downtown LA

Basecamp Wood Oven Pizzeria, also known as the "Pizza Diner," has opened its doors as the newest addition to The Bloc in Downtown Los Angeles, according to the company website.

The Pizza Diner will dish up fresh pies, from the traditional Margarita and Pepperoni to the "Luca," a red sauce pizza topped with house cheese blend, soppressata, cured Italian black olives and house made hot-honey served on the side. The brand also serves white pizzas like the "El Royale" topped with its house cheese blend, BBQ chicken, red onion, chopped garlic and basil oil.

Basecamp pies are naturally leavened and wood fired. All pizzas are topped with their custom Italian cheese blend.

The Bloc is an open-air urban center in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
