NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizza has been named a 2003 Employer of Choice Award winner by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and Coca-Cola North America's Resource Center for Workforce Solutions.
According to a news release, the company received the award on May 19, during the 2003 NRA Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show.
"Companies like Bertucci's are making tremendous strides in meeting and beating their workforce challenges," said Mary M. Adolf, NRAEF president and chief operating officer. "We are honored to publicly recognize Bertucci's for their innovative programs; their efforts further enhance our industry's position as the cornerstone of career and employment opportunities."

Bertucci's Vice President of Operations Mark Eason added that the company's focus on employee retention has "decreased turnover in all areas of our company."
Bertucci's operates 84 casual dining restaurants in the eastern U.S.
