Bird Pizzeria opens brick-and-mortar location

Bird Pizzeria has launched a brick-and-mortar store in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a report in the Charlotte Observer. The restaurant is located in Optimist Park.

It's a soft opening for the restaurant, which is owned by Kerrel and Nkem Thompson and located at 510 E. 15th St. They announced the launch in a newsletter Sunday. The restaurant will have limited hours during its soft opening. Pizza is available for carryout or patio dining.
