Blast 825 will celebrate the opening of its newest location in Roseville, California, with a week-long charity giving event culminating in a VIP Party on Oct. 2, which is open to the public. On Oct. 2, pizzas and salads will be half priced from 5-9 p.m.
The Roseville location on Galleria Boulevard marks the second restaurant for the brand. A third, in Rocklin, California, is planned to open in December.
"Our customers rely on Blast 825 for quick fired, unique menu options to create their own personal pizza with surprising and delicious toppings direct from our 18 foot bar. Blast 825 has the privilege of now sharing our brand's incredible taste, diverse menu options and quick-fired pizza-making process with the local residents of Roseville,” CEO John Ferdinandi said in a news release.
Blast 825 is working with four local charities – Albie Aware, Placer SPCA, Blue Arts and Placer Food Bank – each of which created their own specialty pizzas to best represent their organization.
For a week, from today through Oct. 2 at 4 p.m., when a customer orders one of the custom pizzas, 50 percent of their entire purchase will go directly to the respective charity and will also count as a vote for the grand prize, the "People's Choice" award. When customers attend the VIP Party on Oct. 2, Blast 825 will announce the amount raised and match all purchases, up to an additional $825, and the winner of the "People's Choice" will be announced. That winner's custom work of art will be featured at the Roseville location throughout October for National Pizza Month.
Blast 825 will also donate an additional 30 percent of the custom creation's proceeds throughout October to the winning organization.
