Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is sponsoring this year's 41-stop traveling music festival, the 2017 Vans Warped Tour, a news release said. The brand has figured out some offbeat, interesting ways to get its name out in connection with the near cult-like music event, including everything from skateboard ramp photo opps and free music downloads.
"Partnering with Vans Warped Tour was a natural fit," Blaze Pizza Director of Cultivating Fanatics Kim Freer, said in a news release. "This iconic summer festival shares our belief in celebrating individual expression and the creative forces that drive it."
About 500,000 concert-goers attend the festival, many of whom will surely take advantage of a Blaze photo opp that puts them on a skateboard ramp, posed on a bolted-down skateboard for pictures for Instagram or Twitter that could win them a free pizza.
During many of the evenings, Jules Vera tour band will perform at Blaze restaurants in select cities, with Blaze fans being the first to know where the acoustic sets are taking place and first to get access to a free download of the band's song, "Lifeline."
Vans Warped Tour kicks off its 23rd year on June 16 in Seattle.
