Blaze continues to spread through California, Chicago

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza has announced several new locations slated for opening, including an expansion in Northern California.

The concept will expand its footprint to seven locations in the greater San Francisco and Sacramento areas by late 2015. Blaze opened in Fremont at the Block at Pacific Commons in June. Locations in Gold River's Town Centre (2137 Golden Centre Lane) and Roseville (10325 Fairway Drive) are set to open by the end of this year, according to a news release.

In 2015, Blaze will add four more restaurants to the area, including: University of California - Davis (212 F Street), San Jose's Almaden Plaza (5353 Almaden Expressway), Roseville Galleria (1151 Galleria Boulevard) and San Francisco's Stonestown Galleria (157 Stonestown Galleria).

Blaze also announced that it will open its 20th Southern California location on Oct. 23. To celebrate the grand opening, the Gateway Shopping Center location will offer free pizzas on Oct. 24 between 11 a.m. and midnight to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.

The new Brea restaurant will also feature a selection of wine and craft beer.

Brea residents got their first taste of Blaze Pizza at the Brea Mall restaurant (1065 Brea Mall, located in the upper level food court), which opened last month.

Finally, Blaze will debut its third Chicago area location on Oct. 23 in the West Loop’s Presidential Towers, 24 S. Clinton St. Free pizzas will be given away on Oct. 24 to social media fans.

Blaze Pizza launched in Chicago last December with its first restaurant, at 953 W. Belmont Ave. (next to the Belmont L). A second Chicago location, at 227 E. Ontario St., opened in April to serve Streeterville and the Michigan Avenue crowd.

Next month, Blaze will open in Skokie at Westfield Old Orchard Mall, and in January, a Blaze will open in Evanston (1737 Sherman Ave.)

Blaze Pizza is being developed in the Chicago area by Levy Family Partners under a 15-store franchise development agreement.
