Chicago, east-central Michigan and Upstate New York all get new Blaze franchises this week, beginning with a grand opening in the auto-centric city of Auburn Hills, Michigan, on Tuesday. And followed by Thursday openings in Chicago and Rochester, New York, a news release said.
On Feb. 27, a location on North Squirrel Road near Oakland University in Auburn Hills celebrates its grand opening under the operation of multi-unit franchisee, Blaze Midwest Inc.
This is the ninth Michigan location for the franchisee, which also operates units in Kalamazoo, Lansing, East Lansing, Novi, Royal Oak, Allen Park and two locations in Ann Arbor. Operating under the umbrella of Northland Investments, Blaze Midwest, Inc. and its sister companies own and operate 20 fast-casual and 49 QSR brands in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
Then on Thursday, March 1, Blaze will open units on Jefferson Road in Rochester, followed by a location at State St. and Congress Parkway in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood. Both of those openings will be followed by Friday grand openings at each store, the release said.
The Rochester location is operated by franchisee, Michael Hoover, while the Chicago unit is operated by franchisee, Adam Cummis.
