Blaze Pizza debuts in North Carolina

Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza will open its first North Carolina location Thursday in Morrisville's Park West Village.

To celebrate, the restaurant is offering free pizzas Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to anyone who follows the brand on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

The company has also announced it will open its third Maryland restaurant on Thursday in Laurel's new Town Centre. Free pizzas will also be given away to customers at this location on Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. if they're social media followers.

Blaze Pizza launched in Maryland in August. A second Maryland location, at 7419 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, opened in October to serve the University of Maryland. According to a news release, a fourth location will open in the Annapolis Mall in late 2015.

The Maryland Blaze Pizza locations will be operated by AMPAL Group, a franchise group led by franchisee Amit Patel.
