Blaze Pizza inks multi-unit deals, opens campus location

Blaze Pizza has inked several deals to broaden the brand's presence across the South and Northeast. This includes Georgia with three restaurants in the Savannah area and its first locations in Main, and with three restaurants to be developed across Westbrook, Brunswick and Portland. Additionally, Blaze opened a nontraditional restaurant location on the Tarleton University campus, according to a press release.
Spearheading the Maine introduction are seasoned business owner Jeffrey Martin, of Wildfire Restaurant Group, and his wife, Kirsten Martin, who will oversee operations of the business.
"Over the years, Blaze Pizza has been able to position itself as a clear leader in the fast-casual pizza segment with a proven business model that not only provides great opportunities for franchise owners like myself but also delivers to customers a dining experience that keeps them coming back for more. Expanding the brand in Georgia is existing Blaze Pizza franchisee Grant Watkins of KW Restaurant Group, who has been operating Blaze Pizza locations since 2016.

Blaze Pizza operates more than 340 restaurants across 38 states and six countries.
