A Blaze Pizza will open in early 2015 on Sherman Avenue in Evanston.
Blaze’s current Chicago locations include 953 West Belmont Avenue, adjacent to the Belmont Red Line L Station, and 227 East Ontario Street, between Lake Shore Drive and Michigan Avenue.
The company’s Chicago growth is being led by Levy Family Partners under a 15-store franchise development agreement.
Kalamazoo opening scheduled this week
Blaze also announced that it will open its third Michigan location, in Kalamazoo, on Sept. 11. To celebrate the grand opening, the new restaurant will offer free pizzas Sept. 12 between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
The brand has current Michigan locations in Royal Oak and Novi, both of which opened in late 2013.
The Kalamazoo unit will include a fundraising program that returns 20 percent of an event’s proceeds back to local organizations.
Blaze Pizza is being developed in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio by Blaze Midwest, a franchise group operating under the umbrella of Northland Investments.
