Blaze Pizza's 1-day LTO 'Clawing' its way into customers' hearts

Blaze Pizza has developed a White Claw Pizza and is offering it one-day-only — Thursday —  at 40 of its stores. The pie pizza crust is made with the hard seltzer, Mango White Claw, according to a news release. 

Dough for the very limited-time offer will be made fresh in-restaurant with flour, yeast, extra virgin olive oil, salt, a pinch of sugar, and — instead of the traditional crust's filtered water — Mango White Claw. Hard seltzer is alcohol-based seltzer water, and the version Blaze uses in its crust also has a tinge of mango fruit flavor in it.

The LTO is only available in-restaurant for dine-in or take away and cannot be ordered via app or online. Blaze Pizza's Executive Chef, Brad Kent, recommends the following pizza toppings to go with the crust:

• Signature Red Sauce.
• Shredded Mozzarella.
• Pepperoni.
• Roasted Red Pepper.
• Jalapeño.
• Pineapple.
• Fresh Arugula that's added after the pie is baked.
