May 28, 2015

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza opened doors to its first-ever Texas location in Frisco, the fast casual company said in a press release. The shop is located at The Centre at Preston Ridge.

"We couldn't be more excited to bring Blaze Pizza to the Frisco community," said Brian Kelley, Managing Partner of Saddles Blazin LLC, a Blaze Pizza franchisee, in a statement. "When it comes to pizza, Frisco expects the very best and that's exactly what we serve."

Blaze also announced that it will open its first-ever Nevada restaurant in the Las Vegas area, on Thursday, May 28, 2015. The restaurant will offer free build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, May 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. The Henderson restaurant is located in the Horizon Pointe Shopping Center at 10520 South Eastern Avenue and will feature a selection of wine and craft beer.

The company recently ranked number two on the annual Top 100 Movers & Shakers list published by FastCasual.com, ranking only behind Panera Bread. Company growth, innovation and social responsibility were among the criteria considered to determine rankings.

"By providing a guest experience that is fundamentally better than traditional fast food options, Blaze is reinventing the way Americans think about and enjoy pizza," said Jim Mizes, president and COO of Blaze Pizza, in a statement. "We look forward to continuing to cultivate fanatics as Blaze expands across the country."
