Blondie's Pizza opens in San Francisco-area mall

California-based Blondie's Pizza has opened a location in the Westfield Oakridge Mall in San Jose, California, according to a San Francisco Gate report.

"We have customers that travel all the way from the South Bay to our locations in Berkeley and San Francisco," Abdul Zaloukh, Blondie's owner, said in a statement to the news outlet. "To make things easier for them, we decided to open a store closer to them at the lovely Westfield Oakridge Mall. We want the joy of Blondie's Pizza to be more accessible to everyone, especially those who have been fans of our pizza for many years."

Blondie's was founded in 1980.
