RICHMOND, British Columbia — For the 11th year running, Boston Pizza has been named one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies.

According to a news release, the award recognizes its sustained standard of excellence and leadership in all areas of best business practices. In addition, the chain was made a member of the award contest's elite Platinum Club.

"Boston Pizza is a remarkable business success story," said John Hughes, partner, Private Company Services group with Deloitte and National Leader of the Best Managed program. "As an industry leader with solid management expertise, Boston Pizza has mastered the franchise model and continues to focus on the individual success of its franchisees as its recipe for outstanding achievement."
