Boston Pizza CFO steps down

Mark Powell, chief financial officer of Boston Pizza International Inc., has announced his resignation from the company effective Dec. 15.

According to ImagesFood, Powell also will resign from his positions as director and CFO of Boston Pizza GP Inc., managing partner of Boston Pizza Royalties Limited Partnership, and administrator of the Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund.

Powell joined the company in 2001. He has served as director and CFO of Boston Pizza GP Inc. since the company’s start in 2002.

BPI’s vice president of finance Wes Bews will serve as interim CFO. He will be appointed interim director and CFO of Boston Pizza GP Inc. beginning Dec. 16.
