Boston Pizza comps on the rise

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Comparable-store sales at Canadian pizza chain Boston Pizza rose 6.5 percent for the period between Jan. 1, 2007, though Oct. 1, 2007, compared with the same period last year, the company announced.
Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund announced a cash distribution of 11.5 cents per share for the period from Nov. 1, 2007, to Nov. 30, 2007. The distribution will be paid to shareholders of record at the close of business Dec. 21, 2007, and will be payable on Dec. 31, 2007.
The Fund is a limited purpose, open-ended trust established under the laws of British Columbia to acquire indirectly certain trademarks and trade names used by Boston Pizza International Inc. in its Boston Pizza restaurants in Canada.
