Boston Pizza named Quebec's franchisor of year

MONTREAL — Boston Pizza International was named Franchisor of the Year by the Quebec Franchise Council at its 2007 Maillon d'or Awards. The awards recognize excellence in Quebec franchising and highlight the success of franchises across a number of industries that are contributing to the economic development of Quebec.
Boston Pizza has opened 24 restaurants in Quebec in less than three years and is slated to have 50 restaurants in operation by 2010.
Boston Pizza restaurants in Quebec boast higher average same-store sales than those in the rest of Canada and also rank highest in levels of guest satisfaction. The company employs more than 2,000 people throughout the province.
