Boston Pizza teams with Nintendo for promotion

Canada's Boston Pizza has teamed with Nintendo to immerse pizza fans in next-level activities and gameplay, according to a press release.
Through the partnership, Nintendo character Mario and friend will take over Boston Piza's kids' menu to bring activities and games. The pizza brand will also host Nintendo Switch Fun Sundays an enhanced dining experience offered at select Boston Pizza locations, During the weekly events, the restaurants will section off a portion of the dining room and guests can have the option of ordering a Nintendo Switch directly to their table to use during their dining experience.
We're thrilled to be bringing our community of characters and family-friendly gaming experiences to Boston Pizza guests across Canada," Susan Pennefather, general manager, Nintendo of Canada, said in the press release. "Through this unique partnership, we look forward to creating shared memories and bringing smiles to people's faces."
Boston Pizza will also give away 30 prize pack that include a Nintendo Switch and two select Mario Games. A total of 20 additional winners will receive Nintendo merchandise.
The Nintendo event runs through Oct. 31.
Boston Pizza operates hundreds of locally owned franchise units.
