Boston's Gourmet Pizza enters Twin Cities market

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal: MINNEAPOLIS — Boston's The Gourmet Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar, will open its first Minnesota unit in November. The chain, which has more than 200 units in Canada and the U.S., is based in Richmond, British Columbia.

The full-service chain plans to open 10 Twin Cities-area units over the next six years, said John Seibert, president and owner of JCS Development Inc., in Dayton, Minn.

Boston's namesake pizza is made with a medium-thick crust and fresh ingredients, and the menu also includes sports bar standards such as ribs, chicken wings, subs and salads.
