Dallas-based Boston's Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar has launched its annual Boston Cares fundraising campaign in support of organizations in the cities where they operate. The campaign runs through Feb. 14, according to a press release.
The brand will offer heart-shaped pizzas from Feb. 10-14 and will donate $1 from the sale of each to help show its support. Donations are also made direct in part from guests. Boston's has run this campaign for more than 20 years. As a result, Boston's has donated nearly $2 million to local and national organizations in the U.S. Boston's set a goal of $30,000 for this year's campaign.
Customers can also buy and sign paper hearts at the restaurants, which will be on display for the entirety of the campaign at a minimum donation of $1.
"Partnerships with local organizations are a cornerstone in our brand's philanthropic efforts in supporting the communities in which we operate, and this is the perfect way to kick off a new year," Katie Borger, vice president of marketing for Boston's, said in the press release. "This initiative gives us the opportunity to remind guests of our values and commitment to the communities that so graciously welcome and support our restaurants, and we look forward to another great year of charitable efforts, and hopefully, record-breaking donations made."
