Boston’s Restaurant’s new ‘gourmet’ menu includes expanded pizza lineup

November 3, 2014

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar today launched a new “Gourmet Menu,” with 17 new items.

The company said in a news release that the menu enhancements are part of an effort to differentiate in the marketplace and fit the brand’s tagline: “We’ve gotcha covered.”

“The launch of this new menu signifies a change in direction for our brand,” VP of Marketing Brad Bevill said in the release. “The clean, modern design of our new menu coupled with the improved offerings of our core items—such as our pizzas, pastas, burgers, and wings—sets us up for a strong culinary future. This is only the beginning for us.”

The menu features both new items and enhancements, including:

  • An expanded wing category which includes four additional sauce flavors
  • A grilled-to-order burger
  • An expanded pizza category to include new thin crust options
  • Three new pasta dishes that include lighter, olive oil based options

The menu also features new photography of the items. And, to emphasize the company’s 50-year history, the menu also includes a “history” page.

“Our new menu puts the emphasis back on the quality of our food and the history of our brand, which is what has always set us apart from our competitors,” said VP of Operations Tim Matousek. “By streamlining the menu while adding healthier dishes for our guests, we are continuing to evolve to meet our guest’s needs and stay current on trends in the ever-changing casual dining segment.”
