Boston's The Gourmet Pizza unveils $500K renovation

July 25, 2007

IRVING, Texas Dallas-based Boston's The Gourmet Pizza will re-open its Irving, Texas, location following a $500,000 makeover.

The Irving store, which opened in 2000, features blue and maroon fabric seating, woven walls separating many of the tables and flat-screen plasma TVs throughout the bar and restaurant.

"Irving has been a great location for us since it has opened," said Doug MacDonald, president of Boston's The Gourmet Pizza. "We felt it was time to update our look and we'll be rolling out this redesign in various stores as well as some of our new locations. We anticipate the Boston's customer will enjoy the new feel."

Boston's will donate a percentage of restaurant sales from Aug. 10 to support Irving Cares, a non-profit organization that helps more than 25,000 Irving residents a year with programs ranging from a food pantry to employment support.
